Radhanath Swami's Quotes

Radhanath Swami on Spiritual base : People who can bring about the greatest social changes are those who have a spiritual foundation in their lives. So if you want to make a difference in the world, you have to have a spiritual base.

Radhanath Swami on Death : Death is like a storm which will sink everything in the river of time; the boat is the human body.

Radhanath Swami on The existence of God : Sometimes we try to hide from God, sometimes we try to run from God, but we cannot, because God is situated in and between every atom. Where can we go to escape him? To where there are no atoms?
Radhanath Swami on The eyes of God : We should try to accomplish the best we possibly can. But that shouldn’t be at the cost of our character, or everything becomes empty, spiritually, in the eyes of God.

Radhanath Swami on Faith : When we face difficulties and still remain faithful to God and Guru we access the infinite mercy of their hearts.

Birth Of Prahlad Maharaja

According to the opinion of some historians, Prahlada Maharaja was born in Treta-yuga in the city of Multan, in the state of Punjab. He was born of Hiranyakashipu, a king of the dynasty of Kashyapa. Prahlada Maharaja was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu, but his father was very much against Vishnu. Because the father and son thus differed in their consciousness, the demon father inflicted all kinds of bodily pain upon Prahlada. When this torture became intolerable, the Supreme Lord appeared as Narasimhadeva and killed the great demon Hiranyakashipu… - Sri Chaitanya-caritamrita, Antya 9.10

Prahladpuri Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in Multan (now in Pakistan), earlier known as Kashyapapur. It is named after Prahlada and dedicated to Lord Narasimha. The temple of Prahladpuri is said to have been built by Prahlada Maharaj in honor of Lord Narasimha.

The Prahladapuri temple like the Sun Temple of Multan had been destroyed after Muslim conquest of Multan, suffered several material losses and was reduced to a nondescript shrine by the 19th century.

Imperfect Questions Perfect Answers

Q1: Why Krishna has 16,108 wives? Why He danced with thousands of Gopis in Vrindavan in the dead of the night? Does this not prove that He was immoral and lusty? How will you justify that He was mischievous child and was a butter thief?

A1: It's very funny that without proper knowledge of the scriptures People start speculating. I was reading a book on “Yadav Ithihasa” by Swami Sudhananda, but I was shocked to read that Swami ji was speculating and trying to say that Rasa Lila did not happen etc. First of all we have to understand who Krishna is. Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead- the source of all incarnations (including Lord Visnu, Lord Bramha and Lord Siva) and everything that exists or does not exists.

So if He is the God, it means that everything belongs to Him. So if He is the owner of everything, where is the question of stealing? In fact all the residents of Vrindavan, used to make butter for Krishna only and used to wait that when baby Krishna will come and steal their butter. The mischievous pastimes of little Krishna gives unlimited joy and happiness to all Vrajabashis’s and devotees of Krishna. The pastimes of Krishna is the life and soul of all the residents of Vrindavan- which an envious person will not able to understand. Jai Shri Radha Krishna!

GOD Particle Delusion

In todays date Media in collaboration with money making firms promoting such things that is very bewildering to people in large , and practically driving the lifes of thousands of innocent people. It has created such an atmosphere in modern era that whatever media prints or publish people in general accepts it as true without giving any rational thought to it, without having drill down further the subject matter in details and identify with the publication due to false egoism.

Recently news came of "GOD-Practicle" , which is practically now became everyone's subject matter of talking specially in India where people have Practically no knowledge of How science works, but still due to their not satisfying desire of becoming someone great they identify with this subject matter and confuse their selves as well as others. The name "GOD" in the particle is itself giving the view at first instance that scientist might have discovered God and mystery of Universe but unfortunately the subject matter neither say so nor it has anything to do with God. But it creates an adverse effect in general mass, who has already became athestic due their westernized education to further snatch away them from God. " THIS PROVES THE CHEATING PROPENSITY OF MEDIA AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY".

Biography of Saci Devi

She was the daughter of Nilambara Cakravarti and a resident of Belpukhuria. Nilambara had only one daughter and two sons, namely Yogesvara and Ratnagarbha.

Saci devi's father had formerly been the cowherd Sumukha, who was Yashoda devi's father. Saci devi's mother had formerly been Patala devi, the wife of Sumukha in Krishna lila.

She was married to Jagannatha Misra. After marriage she had eight daughters who died, followed by the birth of Visvarupa and Visvambhara.

Yasoda devi and Vraja's king Nanda, who had been like two great oceans of the nectar of love for Krishna during the Lord's pastimes in Vrndavana, appeared during Lord Chaitanya's pastimes as Saci devi and Jagannatha Purandara. Some devotees say that the two demigods Aditi and Kasyapa, who incarnated as Kausalya and Dasaratha, Prsni and Sutapa, and also as Devaki and Vasudeva, the parents of Balarama and Krishna, also entered the bodies of Saci devi and Jagannatha. These devotees say that if this were not so, then it would not have been possible for Balarama to take birth as their son Visvarupa.
